Euros Lyn To Direct Last Two Specials

It has been confirmed that Euros Lyn will be directing the final two Doctor Who specials that will mark the end of David Tennant's era as the Doctor.The news was confirmed in a press release regarding this year's New York ComicCon, which takes place next month. Lyn will be a guest at the event.The final two specials, which will air late 2009 and early 2010, will form a two-part adventure which will ultimately lead to the Tenth Doctor's demise.Is this a good option?

David Tennant To Present Comic Relief

David Tennant is to present Comic Relief this year,he will be along side Davina McCall who will also be presenting it.Comic Relief is on Friday the 13th March.Will you be watching it?

New Figures

Forbidden Planet have now announced that a collection of classic action figures and sets including will be released in their stores in the UK and Ireland. The figures consist of; the 1st Doctor with Black Dalek in both colour and black and white variants, the 2nd Doctor with Telos Cyberman in both colour and black and white variants, and the 6th Doctor in Real Time blue coat. You can see the figures above, and you can see the black and white versions below;

These figures will only be available from Forbidden Planet, and they will be released on the 27th of July. The 1st Doctor and Black Dalek sets will be sold at the price of £24.99, the 2nd Doctor and Telos Cyberman sets will be sold at the price of £24.99 as well, and the 6th Doctor in blue coat figure will cost £14.99. Apparently Head Writer Russell T Davies has had to RE-WRITE some of scenes for Planet Of The Dead, after the DoubleDecker bus prop was badly damaged while being shipped over seas.

Almost seven million people tuned in to find out who will take over from David Tennant as Doctor Who. A special Doctor Who Confidential programme was shown on BBC1 on Saturday afternoon and revealed Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor Who.
